I first began getting into music in 2018 and properly after my first little gig in August 2018 in one of my favourite venues Totara St, Mount Maunganui. From there, music and discovering “underground” talents became almost a hobby and is such a huge part of my life. I realised this on a dive trip I went on to a remote island with no phone, wanting simply to come back to chuck in my head phones and turn it up so loud I was completely taken by the music. Then stemmed my interest in sharing the talented artists I listen to and the idea to express this through writing evolved. I’m hoping people will give my posts a read and maybe have a listen to the artists I write about. Maybe music they don’t usually listen too, opening their ears to tunes more than just what’s on the radio and makes you vibe with the infectious sounds.
